Effective May 2, 2022, the office of Paragon Surgical Specialists is a “mask optional” facility. Signs explaining the change have been placed at our check-in locations. Providers and clinicians are still required to wear masks while interacting directly with our patients (such as escorting patients to clinical areas and exam rooms). Atrium Health Cabarrus has not changed its policy, so masks are still required within the hospital and anywhere in our building (except in our office).
